Spotted Asian House just a half hour ago on Yelp. When I noticed 4.5 stars I drove here and very glad I did, the food is excellent, nice decor and service was perfect Thanks to Katy !

The address through yelp isn't correct - search it through Google! The buffet is a great deal at 22.95. The service isn't the best - the owners were busier watching NBA than they were to greet us or to seat us and our waitress was nice, but seemed overwhelmed by the few tables that were there (water was left in filled, she'd disappear for long periods of time and we couldn't order when we wanted, would sweep instead of paying attention to patrons). The not so good: Pad Thai does not taste like pad Thai at all; I would pass on this. It was bland and doesn't look like the picture on their menu at all. The sauce is not tamarind based, so you aren't getting that sweet and sour tang that you'd expect. I'd also pass on the crab Rangoon - the sauce was not good and the wrapper was so thick; the filling also wasn't great. The sushi is a great deal and was very tasty. We ordered 4 different specialty rolls and they were all large portions and very tasty. The gyoza was also good. We also ordered the seafood delight which had nice, large whole pieces of shrimp in it.

$22.99 for all you can eat - completely worth it. We were initially skeptical of trying this place as we have tried many sushi buffets in the area and haven't always had the best experience. Unlike your typical buffet experience, all items from the all you can eat menu are prepared fresh. The all you can eat menu contains a wide array of Chinese and Japanese appetizers, platters and entrees, and sushi. We highly recommend trying the gyoza, shrimp tempura, spicy salmon roll, yellow tail and scallion roll, yaki udon, and sesame chicken!

Stopped in yesterday for a late lunch. ordered a small bowl of miso soup, which taste is it like it was from a package. also ordered the Royal roll, which consisted of mostly avocado. I also ordered tuna sashimi and salmon sashimi which both tasted frozen not fresh. I'm sorry to say I will not be returning.

Came here alone during lunch to try out the All You Can Eat Buffet for $22 not expecting much and fortunately I was mistaken. This is not your typical buffet style eatery where the food is pre-made and sitting in a container getting cold and rotten. Instead it offers you a menu that has an array of options to choose from; it varies from sushi, gyoza, your typical edamame, to actual dishes and combination platters. I decided to get my money's worth and stuck to eating only sushi. Besides, after the 2 rolls I had (Godzilla & Ocean City) I was too full to attempt to try anything else. I am so used to rolls consisting of 6-8 pieces and one roll alone had 10 pieces. I typically like rolls that have spicy sauce and tuna and while this was great I felt as though it needed more spice and flavor so I opted to use Eel sauce. Try getting some on the side (it doesn't cost extra). The display is exactly how it is pictured and nothing short of it. I usually like my displays to coniside with the quality of fish and it did just that. The fish was fresh and although I stuck to primarily tuna and shrimp I noticed other patrons ordering salmon and the lobster salad rolls and they all seemed to have enjoyed it. This place definitely sits well with me and considering the limited number of sushi spots in the NCCo area, I will, for sure, make another stop here in the near future.

I happened upon this place while sitting in the wawa parking lot checking Yelp for someplace different to eat. The outside is unassuming, to be nice, but the interior was spotless and the food definitely lived up to all the prior reviews. I had the Kung Po chicken lunch special and left plenty of food on the plate and had an overstuffed belly. It wasn't quite as spicy as I was expecting but the taste was superb. Definitely a place to visit again!

I think this place is the best... Every Sunday they have all you can eat sushi, Chinese, appetizers, and soup all made to order and super cheap. For 2 people it is just under 50 and all the food is super good! I used to travel for a living and am really picky about my sushi this place is consistently delicious and rarely busy, which I cannot comprehend. However, that is good for me as it is extra quick and a great place to chill, talk and catch up!

I enjoyed Asian House when it first opened but it seems the quality has declined recently. Based on other reviews this is probably a great place for dining in and for sushi, but standard Chinese is very bland. Tonight I ordered house special lo mein and shrimp fried rice and both lacked flavor. This place is nice but I've had better and cheaper food from hole the wall takeout joints. It's time for me to give up on this place for good unless I become a fan of sushi. I'll stick to the Chinese restaurant on the other side of the shopping center; they deliver and the food is much better.

The all-you-can-eat option is a wonderful idea. The food is freshly cooked, and you get just what you want. My faves are the crispy chicken in orange flavor and the Thai wings.

Excellent and quick service with delicious food! I have eaten everything from sushi to soup to the entree dishes and have never been disappointed. One of my favorite places to eat.

This place is perfect for when you want asian food and want to eat out in a nice environment (instead of fried rice out of a box or plastic container). The service is awesome and the food, and the presentation is beyond awesome! I would eat here every day if I could afford it. It IS slightly more expensive than take out chinese or japanese food but in my opinion, worth the extra few $$. I ordered the sesame chicken with steamed white rice combo platter (comes with an egg roll). It was only $8.95. Their menu reads like a book. So many delicious choices and a list of Chef Specials worth trying sometime. Even the fried egg noddles with dipping sauce were scrumptous! Our server was american and knew everything about the menu and how the food was prepared. She was attentive and helpful. It was the perfect dining experience! My meal was heaven! They do have an all you can eat menu and a sushi bar. Next time I plan on trying that! They do serve alcohol and we tried sake for the first time. Amazing! Give Asian House a try! You won't be disappointed!

For starters, I was VERY hungry so this might have impaired my judgement on the quality of the food. I thought it was AMAZING! I loved their service. They were very attentive and service the food at a reasonable timely manner. I ordered the sesame chicken platter and my partner ordered the chicken box. He ate everything on his plate so I think it was safe to assume that he enjoyed his food as well. It is also very afforadable! All in all, I recommend it so if you were questioning it before I hope this helps. :)

This is currently our favorite Chinese/Japanese eatery. Everything we have had from here has been excellent, from sushi to hot food. Especially awesome is their $19.99 buffet. Normally I would consider that a little steep for a Chinese buffet, where food has been sitting out all day long and you only want to try about a third of what's out anyway. Here, however, the buffet works in this way: there's a specific buffet menu that has appetizers, soups and salads, hot food, and special sushi rolls. Basically their whole regular menu. You order what you want, and they make it fresh for you right then. If you're still hungry after that, you can order again. And again. And again. We've done the buffet twice, and we added up what our food would have cost otherwise and it's come out to about twice what we paid. The special Naruto roll is awesome, especially for those who are watching their carbs. It has several kinds of fish plus avocado, no rice, and is wrapped in a thinly sliced cucumber spiral. The Royal roll, spicy girl roll, the bamboo roll, the Godzilla roll, all of these are amazing. General Tso shrimp is excellent. All of the salads are great, and I could eat their white tuna tata (with thinly sliced jalapeno and ponzu sauce) for every meal. Literally. Definitely check it out!

Went to this restaurant recently and got the All You Can Eat for $21.99. It was fantastic! They give you a special menu but this menu consists of just about everything that they offer on the traditional menu. There were only two of us but we ordered a total of 8 Specialty Sushi Rolls. The Asian House Roll I think was my favorite. The Shrimp Tempura in any of the rolls I tried was the best I have ever had anywhere. We also ordered some of the General Tso's Chicken and the Mongolian Beef. They were really good as well. The All You Can Eat is so worth it if you love Sushi! The staff is great. The place is small, only about 15 tables but super clean. I used to live near here and never tried it until I saw the reviews. I will definitely be back very soon. Probably the best Sushi experience I have ever had.

Asian House is a Chinese/Japanese restaurant in the Beaver Brook Plaza strip mall on US-13 northbound. US-13 Southbound access is by the traffic light at the Wawa store. I noticed this restaurant had a grand opening not so long ago and I'd been meaning to try them for some time. What I noticed about this restaurant initially is the decor is rather upscale for a Chinese restaurant but prices are not upscale. They have both Chinese and Japanese sections in the menu. The latter includes sushi selections. This time, I ordered vegetable egg foo young and fried wontons from the Chinese side of the menu. I thought the food was good and rather filling for Chinese food. Service was excellent and very obliging. As a bonus they have wi-fi internet too. I definitely should return to try more items from their menu.

My husband and I are regulars at the Asian House. We absolutely love the food. I always get the sushi and it's fresh and delicious. We are always satisfied when we visit. The service staff is attentive and friendly. This has become one of our favorite places to go.

I have always classified Asian takeout food as either really good or really bad, now I have to create a wholenew category just for Asian house! This is by far the best asian food around at a low cost price. I am a huge fan of their lunch combos as well as their sushi specials that they are always running. The inside is also very inviting (not just a big empty dining room with two table like most take out places) with an ambiance that feels like 5 star. Hands down this place has it all and if in the area looking for Asian cuisine this is a great pick!
